THANK YOU
For 10 years, the Chester Higher Education Council (CHEC) has worked collectively to improve college access and educational attainment in the City of Chester and throughout Delaware County.
Recently, an evaluation of costs and the future sustainability of CHEC was conducted. After careful review and consideration, the CHEC board came to the difficult conclusion that CHEC and the CACDC are not sustainable in their current form and must cease operations in June of 2018.
For these remaining months, we will carry on business as usual, continuing all our current programming, and most importantly continuing to support our students and their families.
Members of the CHEC board remain committed to continued collaboration and will use established relationships to evolve programming to support community needs.
